They may have thought you didn't a) notice or b) consider it worthwhile investigating when you moved off. I would have moved to a safe area to swap details but made sure they understood this. Still doesn't stop them doing a runner if that is what they choose to do. Mobile phone cameras are good for taking quick instant evidence photos eg number plate in these sorts of circumstances. |

| 686160 | 2008-07-08 11:38:00 | Who cares about traffic. People will be angry, sure, but they will understand once they actually see what's happened. We cannot trust people any more to pull over with you, same thing happened with my friend, he was an idiot, didn't stop, kept driving slow and indicated to the side expecting the person to follow suite, they sped away and he wasn't able to identify them. Since he couldn't identify them, he would have had to claim insurance, which he ended up not doing because it was only slightly more than his $1500 excess to fix up the damages. | Deathwish (143) | ||
