814999 2009-09-29 06:14:00 You could get one of these (ascent.co.nz) (they are worth their weight in gold, have about 5 of them here use them every day, would recommend getting one they are always useful)

What are the power plugs like? I bought an adaptor from Trade Me a while ago and the plug was so flimsy it wouldn't even stay in the power point properly. It was a complete POS.

Mines uses the standard power plug, so you can replace it with a better on. Not sure about that digitus though..

815001 2009-09-29 06:50:00 I've never come across the
Digitus DA-70501-1, 2.5" IDE to USB 2

Do you just stick an IDE drive in that like an enclosure?

815003 2009-09-29 07:36:00 Got Windows XP Home installed, should I have any problems? convair (13650)
815004 2009-09-29 07:39:00 Nope.

If you need to recover any data from the old HDD, and it previously had Windows installed you may have to take ownership of it.
