It will run a dozen or so AV scanners across it.

814705 2009-09-28 20:45:00 The problem might be arising from what the program is made to do. I had the same problem with another disk cleaning software. I emailed the company and had this explained to me. nedkelly (9059)

Sophos urge you: These are not false positives!

Is it also in the latest version of their software? The software developer might not be aware ...

814707 2009-09-28 21:17:00 Macafee security suit also tells me that the "Wise disk cleaner" has a trojan in it and stops me from installing onto my comkputer. I am running Windows 7 kountryken (14110)
814708 2009-09-28 21:21:00 The problem is.. I understand some programs use code or w/e to work, and it picks up as malicious. But had PC World stated that, and said so, it would not have bothered me.

It makes me wonder what or if they even scan what they're putting on the disk...

814712 2009-09-28 22:33:00 If you download the Latest version (download.cnet.com) Which is 4.81, do a scan on that , it comes up as clean.

The one on the PCWorld DVD is Version: 4.52.0 So its out of date.
