I find he's always too soft and polite to his guests.

686310 2008-07-08 11:48:00 That's too much :S Will it definitely be locked? I can't imagine even the fan boys dishing out for that, the upfront price is good for what it is, but what you are paying monthly is exorbitant. Think what kind of services you could get for $80 ~ $250 a month... could buy high speed DSL with heaps more than a 1gb cap and have heaps left over for other stuff! Deathwish (143)

You'd be suprised at what gullible people will pay for the latest models:yuck:

If I was a multimillionaire with unlimited funds, and purchased it through my business, then maybe I would get one. However there are far more things I would rather spend $250 per month on. That would probably pay for petrol for a month.

686313 2008-07-08 12:02:00 I see a story has been published here about NZs pricing www.readwriteweb.com

'Greedy Opportunists' is a good quote. I hope the commerce commission regulate them for doing this, as they have been warned before about this type of monopoly practice.

686314 2008-07-08 12:30:00 For 75 quid a month for 18 months (6 months less the Vodafone NZ), O2 in the UK (www.o2.co.uk) are GIVING away the 8GB or the 16GB (why would you want an 8GB?), 3000 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited data and wifi.

Doesn't even come close to Vodafone NZ's pitiful offering...

Just shows what a bit of competition in the market can do - there's a few more telcos in the UK than just two - and all of which are GSM networks, so they can compete properly, unlike NZ.

Now that's a good deal. They would have decent speed/coverage 3G over there too. :dogeye:

686316 2008-07-08 21:37:00 Keep an eye on tv1 wednesday morning i guarantee the breakfast program will review the imoan er iphone in all its glory but viewers will be putting up the middle finger at the price of the rip off plans that vodaphone have launched.

To add to my previous comment Tv1s ticker on breakfast this morning said the iphone will be on tomorrow thursday morning all eyes will be glued im sure.

686317 2008-07-08 21:48:00 I think everyone who wants a iphone should jump on the phone to vodaphone and consistantly jam the lines all day about the ludicrous prices of these plans surely by then they will have to cave in to public demand. Hitech (9024)
