685733 2008-07-06 04:48:00 Hi all,

I am trying to text a friend in aussie from my telecom mobile, they have an Aussie Telstra 0419 number. when I try to send a message I get a message saying the following "Message undeliverable. You must first subscribe to the text messaging featurethrough your service provider". what a croc, I have been texting for years and now I want to text someone in aust I cant do it. Can anyone shed some light in this issue for me please?

Cheers

685735 2008-07-06 06:12:00 Telecom pre pay phones don't always work the blue Nokia that everyone has certainly will not text anywhere overseas, but there is a way round it.

If they text you, you can reply to that text but not send a new text, works for OZ only though.
