| 688309 | 2008-07-12 23:27:00 | Anyone know of any companies in Auckland area that stock a good range of computer desks/workstations. I had a look in Warehouse Stationery but nothing there caught my eye. Also looked at a few on Trademe, but nothing there I fancy either. It is for my daughter so a bit of space for doing a bit of homework, space for a full tower case and a 24" LCD, maybe a bit of storage as well. No need for printer or scanner space as these are networked and in another room. |

Just a note that although going 24inch will cost a bit it will also give you more desk space although 24inch with a Tower would be cheaper but require under desk storeage for the Tower. Have you tried Dick Smith, Bond and Bond or Noel Leemings? or a cheaper custom built alternative? The other alternative would be a Mac mini plugged into an existing monitor since I assume it is for School Work rather than for gaming Priced from $948 - $1249+GST |

There will be a 22" Wide Screen monitor going in it as I already have that. But enough space for a bit extra is always good. I already have the Computer to go in it, although over the next 6 months I will upgrade it to almost similar specs to my Sig. It is currently a P4 3.2 in a full Tower case with 3 HDD's and 2 x DVD burners. No, I have not tried Dick Smith, Bond and Bond or Noel Leemings at all yet, I never figured they had furniture, but will take a look. |

That is where I got my current work station for my iMac which I based on what I have previously used. http://www.mcgreals.co.nz/ |
