687129 2008-07-09 23:06:00 I don't actively use my vodafone mobile anymore but I got a message from Vodafone this morning saying they will be charging $1 per customer service call! Uhm... why don't they just charge us for turning our phones on too? Oh, no doubt they will! jermsie (6820)
687130 2008-07-09 23:34:00 I just got the same text. WTF is wrong with Vodafone recently? Have they all lost their senses in that company?

I mean the iPhone pricing fiasco is bad enough and they also raised the prices of international texts last year or so and now this.

Next thing you know, we'll be charged to manage our phones from the Internet as well which is what they recommend in this text.

687131 2008-07-10 00:54:00 Telecom doesn't charge me for such things. In fact I only have to pay 20c to send a text. :D pcuser42 (130)

687133 2008-07-10 02:32:00 It is to cater for the iFans, they expect to pay through the nose for every bit of everything or it is lacking "Jobness". ;) R2x1 (4628)
687134 2008-07-10 02:35:00 They probably see their expected cash cow (iPhun) drying up, so they need another revenue stream .

That, plus their support is pathetic anyway - maybe they need to raise some money to ppay for getting some monkeys in who know what they're talking about . . .

That would be quite likely since I doubt that many people are going to cough up for an iPhone at the current prices .

Even Rogers of Canada have finally come to their senses  after a "wee bit of proding" from Apple, and dropped their rates siginificantly so now Apple will actually supply them with iPhones .

To summarize: That makes Vodafone NZ the most expensive rip off merchants out of 21 iPhone providers around the world come 12 . 01am tonight .

Prepay cusomters are second class customers to vodafone. Just another example of how this global company is ripping off NZers. Do vodafone OZ do this?

Hurry up telecom and NZ Communications , and setup your GSM networks, so we can have some competition in the GSM space.

687137 2008-07-10 04:02:00 Paul must have planned his holiday so he would avoid this PR nightmare for vodafone NZ.

At least they announced this a day before the iphone launch, so it would get lost in the iphone hype.

687138 2008-07-10 04:03:00 Boycott them. Come on people.

Otherwise everyone else will start doing the same, cause its 'acceptable'.
