Sorry about that kenj,same thing indeed.
For all that,it will be interesting to see what these new prices engender,invention wise.

What about actual New Zealand prices?
For some reason I do not drive in the USA. I might add that statistics are only numbers and may be interpreted which ever way the individual sees them.

I thought Sweep is just the lad to prove this to be the case in NZ and remove this from the realm of stats.

My input was not "Stats" but observation in NZ over many years of observations from inside and outside of the motor trade. Take from them what you want.

Unfortunately, the figures will have changed in the time since I posted the musings. In the early days petrol stayed the same price or thereabouts for years. That was until the first oil shock in the 70's. All turned to custard since then, but if prices had gone up with inflation, I feel we would be around where we are today with prices per litre.
