688200 2008-07-13 10:51:00 the box is 95% chance of being a booster. it needs power supply for it.
it could be a combiner but most use a cheaper copy rather than the kingray combiner. undo that scrw on the fron and open it up. should have model number so you can get the right power supply for it.

booster are used for multiable outlets and also if you have weak signal. most tv's need quite a bit of signal to get a decent pic. a masthead amp has a much lower signal requirement.

UHF is stuffed, the dipole is missing and you can see the remains of the reflector thats rusted off.

vhf, rusty screws don't matter. its the connection between the conntacts that matter. if the connections are loose they will be stuffed.

doesn't really matter which way side the UHF aerails is on unless they are pointed to different transmitters.

sorry don't know the signals in your aera so not much help there.

I agree tweak but if you look closely at the picture they are pointing in quite different directions. If by some chance they are in fact pointing at their respective transmitters then the UHF one should really be on the other side.
However, at the end of the day the aerial setup could best be described as stuffed and realistically is going to need someone with the gear and expertise to fix it.

i think its pointing different directions due to the U bolt being fairly stuffed.
cerrtainly new aerial or just get a freeveiw decoder for the dish.
