I find it idiotic to preform such a stupid task. If you denounce the bible can you ask to do something other than swearing the oath on it? |

What sort of society does one get if people opt out of giving evidence when the Police are bringing an offender against our society to court to answer for his actions. You are probably happy to take all the benefits that living in NZ Society has to offer - with these benefits comes obligations - do your duty and meet them. |

Have we gone as far as letting muslims swaer on the koran>? OMG no! Why let somebody have equal rights when there are those amongst us who feel justified to oppress them. They can swear on the bible, whilst denouncing Mohamed, whilst scrubbing their skin until they turn white, whilst developing an appalling NZ accent to the point where you can't understand what the hell they are saying. That's the NZ way after all. The point is, you swear on what you hold dear. If you have to swear on your xbox, or in your case your white pointed hood, then so be it. |
