| 815369 | 2009-10-01 22:33:00 | you are probably using windows vista. this awful OS does not even recognise microsoft's own creations, like mine does not recognise word documents. Anyway, easiest is to save the file and then open it, rather than trying to open direct from the e-mail. You can also try and redefine the application to open pdf. this is done in control panel, 'default programs' and then 'associate a file type...' where you find pdf and make sure it's associated with your latest version of adobe reader. adobe is more problematic than helpful. install foxit and the FF plugin , then you can view the pdf within the email, and if need be save it to documents . what should the OS have to do with pdf anyway? foxit absolutely owns adobe :2cents: |
