There is a 3rd party MMS app in the apps store and I believe that any of the functions mentioned in the article will be developed by 3rd parties or by Apple in due course as Apple is always working on stuff. I also have a feeling that the copy and paste function that many have been asking for will arrive as a 3rd party app. Also I think the missing video capability will arrive once the get the battery live span lengthened. Not sure if it was mentioned but the new iPhone battery is easy to remove.
Flash support - Adobe is working on it - the earlier version was too crappy for the iPhone as it was to resource intensive+ Steve Jobs hates Adobe Flash.

On a side note, the iPhone 2G just had some good product placement on NCIS - Probie has one which Gibbs was using to photograph a jumper. :) Apple obviously paid for placement as the Apple logo was visible - if they don't pay for placement the logo is generally covered.

687508 2008-07-13 10:28:00 Yes, you could. But then any phone can. Why would you spend a small fortune to buy the iPhone when you cant even take advantage of it.

Well, it wouldn't really be any different to owning an older-model iPhone. Plus I'd get GPS.

However, this is purely theoretical. I actually have no interest in buying an iPhone; I already have an iPod Touch and a cellphone.

MMS looks to be like PXT, is it the same thing or is there a difference? I've never sent a PXT, although some friends occasionally email them through to me.

687510 2008-07-13 10:44:00 A number early iPhone 3G adopters are finding that their new phone's display is much warmer, or yellow-tinted, compared to the displays of the original iPhone and have begun lodging complaints:

Apple says yellow-tinted iPhone 3G screen deliberate:

687511 2008-07-13 10:50:00 Correct, according to the article on AppleInsider it is supposed to be more colour accurate and easier to read in daylight which is not something that LCD screens are known for. Probably just take a bit to get used to. vitalstatistix (9182)

My friend had the same attitude as me

He says either than being able to poke the screen of an iphone.Everything else of the iphone are pretty useless.

No auto focus
Bad Camera
No external memory
I can go on and on.Not worth the money

My friend says his N73 is better than an Iphone. The picture which he takes using his camera is way better
