816209 2009-10-02 23:58:00 How do i change my CPU cooler fan's speed?

816210 2009-10-03 00:17:00 Thats probably why its loud youre using 2 fans on 1 connection? Either use a program to lower it (which probably wont be a good idea, depending on what else in the case). Or buy quieter fan / or fans Speedy Gonzales (78)
816211 2009-10-03 00:56:00 What progam do you recommend? whellington (15030)
816212 2009-10-03 01:03:00 speedfan I suppose (www.almico.com). Dont know how good it is, never used it Speedy Gonzales (78)
816213 2009-10-03 01:22:00 You can only change by temperatures?

816214 2009-10-03 01:26:00 No as it says you can also lower speeds (if you know what youre doing) Speedy Gonzales (78)
816215 2009-10-03 01:51:00 Maybe save up for a better heat sink for the CPU then the fan won't need to spin so fast gary67 (56)

Its a $120 HSF Coolermaster Hyper N512, i might just take the two 92mm fans off cause im not overclocking

Should be an option in the BIOS-but only if your motherboard supports it.

816218 2009-10-03 21:52:00 You can only control fan speed through software if your motherboard provides a fan speed controller.

You may also need to enable the option in BIOS too.

But if the hardware supports it then Speedfan should do it - check the help for it if you don't know how to change the speeds - it's very easy.
