815711 2009-09-30 22:55:00 when I view a video from a certain website it plays in Windows Media Player.
I would like to save the video to my computer for future viewing, but Windows Media Player doesn't offer a save option.

Is there anyway of saving a video that plays in WMP?

I have tried TubeMaster++ and Ask and Record: no success (It could be me)

815716 2009-10-01 00:39:00 You need to know that there are an increasing number of sites using encrypted streams that can't (legally) be saved to hard drive. There's no software around that decrypts the streams, and none of the old tricks like checking the browser cache works. There's a few threads on here from the last couple of months talking about it. nofam (9009)
815717 2009-10-01 00:49:00 If you use Firefox try the add-on Download Helper - it is excellent. You need to make sure you install the converter with it...has good instructions. FAB (6923)
