| 817131 | 2009-10-05 07:14:00 | I have a PC running XP Pro. All of a sudden it does not detect wireless mouse and keyboard when it has booted into windows, it does the same with thing with a wired mouse. But it does detect k/b and mouse in CMOS. I don't have the 6 x rescue disks that you can use on xp but I do have the xp install disk. How can I fix this short of reinstalling the OS? |

If it's a laptop and the mouse pad isn't working either and shows a yellow mark in device manager, you'll need to update the bios. Can find the drivers on the manufacturers website. But most likely what blam said will sort the problem. Make sure you select 'uninstall' on all of the ones that show the yellow mark. |
