816749 2009-10-04 21:08:00 I like an easy life. Can't be bothered going through all that shutdown business.

I have a batch file on my desktop. Simply double click. Easy.

Make up a batch file with the command: shutdown -f -s -t 02 and save yourself the bother.

A forced shutdown like that *can* harm your computer, suggest you shutdown from windows.

Have used that shutdown for some years now with no problems. Particularly useful across a local network. I can shutdown any PC on the network from my PC. Have never had a problem. Recommend it to one and all.
