816375 2009-10-03 07:57:00 Hi all

In the past I've used Nero for burning audio CD's, as it came free when I bought the burner.
With my new system the only version of Nero that was bundled with it is their cut-back basic version that can copy discs and burn data, but can't burn normal music discs.
So, can anyone recommend a good, free burning program that can burn audio CD's?
I need something that can remove the 2 second gap between tracks, as some of the discs I burn are live concerts. Also I'd like something that can write CD text, and that will also verify the data written.

Running Win7 RC 64bit

Thanks!

816381 2009-10-04 03:14:00 4.26 of cdburnerxp, which has just came out supports cd text now. Altho in order for this to work, whatever you put the cd in has to support cd text as well Speedy Gonzales (78)
816382 2009-10-04 03:45:00 I'd also suggest Infra Recorder: http://infrarecorder.org/

It looks like it can do everything you're after, and it's free and open source software. In my opinion that's usually better than getting the free version of something like Burnaware as you don't get bugged about upgrading and don't have features disabled. I haven't actually used Burnaware free though so that might not apply.
