689695 2008-07-18 00:30:00 Whats wrong with Spybot?

Sorry PC,my fault again,I meant M/S cant seem to run a malware app,so if they bought the likes of Spybot they could leave it to them to run.

Just saying how I would run M/S.

With luck I should be on their payroll soon.

Ah.
Well, no.
If MS bought Spybot, Spybot would be a bloated useless piece of crap in no time.

689699 2008-07-18 03:47:00 They need to sell lots of something, they missed their 3rd Quarter guidance which means the anal-ysts on Wall St aren't that impressed

689700 2008-07-18 06:38:00 I wouldn't say Defender is good at actually detecting malware but it is good for monitoring startup entries, context menu items and IE BHOs Agent_24 (57)

Dont listen to his BS.

MS missed its earnings guidance by only one US cent while reporting a 42% increase in profits.

Normally when companies announce their guideance for the next quarter they are expected to beat it rather than miss it.

Though we’re not witnessing Microsoft’s decline, there were a few knotty spots that clearly irked analysts on the quarterly conference call. Chief Financial Officer Chris Liddell blamed soft retail sales of the higher-end version of Office for a slight revenue shortfall in the business division, which makes one wonder whether improved online alternatives are poaching customers.

Apple announces its 3rd quarter next week. I would be expecting them to beat the expectations by a substantial amount.
