689139 2008-07-15 14:32:00 i wonder when xtra will go into receivership

Never, as Xtra is nowTelecom.

Also if you’re unhappy with Xtra why don’t you swap ISP's?

689140 2008-07-15 19:21:00 Haha that's hilarious.

One quick email to Xnet and it was turned off in a day. My pings went down intstantly by about 40.

The ISP has no control over interleaving
Xnet would have made the request to Telecom and they would have made the change.

689143 2008-07-15 22:11:00 They only allow it on specific plans.
Go Large is one that does not allow it to be turned off.

689145 2008-07-15 22:42:00 I don't really get bothered about interleaving because I don't worry about ping rates (no on-line gaming, except for online Poker and then the ping is not important) but just for interest - I'm on the old Adventure plan (10G) with Xtra - that plan the same as go large regarding interleaving?

689146 2008-07-16 00:48:00 To go back a few posts to the problem of waiting ages for your ISP help desk to answer the phone - call their freephone number on your cellphone and you'll be answered within a few mins usually, the calls seem to be prioritised to the head of the queue. annie (6010)
