817060 2009-10-05 11:03:00 My nForce 4 SLI board provides options for tweaking the chipset voltage etc, it just depends on how much your board is designed for overclocking I think.

But overclocking RAM etc also requires that your chipset (or CPU rather, now) supports that higher clock as well

817062 2009-10-06 03:34:00 A good brand 350W would do. 400W better. 450W best. 500W too much. 550W overkill. qazwsxokmijn (102)
817063 2009-10-06 04:59:00 Wht do you mean by overkill? - it would destroy the components - or is it just too much?
By the way, if you have a 650W PSU, does that comfortably satisfying a core i7 and at least a 9800GTX+?

817064 2009-10-06 06:09:00 Lol.....the latter. Overkill means too much. Like when an enemy has 200HP and you dealt it 2600HP of damage. That's overkill.

And yeah, 650W is enough for an i7 and a 9800GTX+. 550W is good enough too, but I would get something larger than 550W.

If its of a decent brand yes, it should be fine.
