817029 2009-10-05 10:06:00 You can't do that with a normal windows OS.
Are you thinking of RAID?

Are you thinking of an abnormal windows installation like using sysprep for example?

Or third party software possibly which we won't discuss on this forum?

817033 2009-10-05 20:54:00 No as it says its limited to XP Pro and 2000. If you dont use either of these, you'll probably lock yourself out of the hdd. I wouldnt convert a hdd to dynamic

I certainly wasn't recommending it! I've only ever reversed the process which didn't use to be very easy as few imaging software back "then" used to be able to work with dynamic disks.

(not that I have any idea what it is)

817038 2009-10-05 23:48:00 I can think of no 3rd party partitioning program that would be illegal

Unless you were referring to such software that was pirated

But there is no law against extending partitions over multiple hard drives... :p
