| 817268 | 2009-10-06 01:58:00 | Running an Intel Core 2 Quad using XP SP3 on a workgroup with two other computers. I want to control this computer from a remote computer using XP's Remote Desktop connection. When I try to connect, using this computer's confirmed IP address I get a message saying "Computer cannot be found . . ." Microsoft's published information seems to suggest that the LAN needs to be connected to a server through a VPN or a TS Gateway. Is it possible to connect without using a server? Maurice |
