690578 2008-07-20 11:06:00 Hello, I bought a freeview reciever. purpose of connecting to my UHF antenna
I follow the connection promt. but "No signal " message appeal on my tv screen when i try to view from av. Is there anyone know what is the matter please. I connect the cable from antenna to TV In on the receiver then connect picture and audio cables (Red, Yellow, White) between receiver and tv...... thanks

690579 2008-07-20 11:37:00 Is the light displaying on the front of the Freeview box? If so its actually switched off! it displays a light when the unit is off not when it is on!

Check that you have not plugged the RCA cables into the Component outputs by mistake.

Also once its on you need to SCAN to tune in the Freeview transmissions.

lol yeah! such a common error. We had so many people bring back the freeview boxes because they thought they weren't working, turns out they just didn't switch it on.
