| 817821 | 2009-10-07 10:45:00 | Hi there Friend of mine was having trouble with switching from his freebie single port dynalink modem to a rta1025w, so i went over and checked it out. i first thought it will work out of the box straight away (no need to setup username etc in router menu) because at my place i didn't need to authenticate., but it wasnt working as routers PPP light wasnt on, so i did the quick setup and put username@dsl.clear.net.nz and the password. but still no PPP light. i gave the router few min no luck. i did a reset and setup everything again no luck. just to check if the phone jack is not faulty, i plugged the old modem and it worked. i took this rta1025 modem to my house and it worked within few sec, internet was ready to use.( i have xtra) |
