We should recognise the efforts of the experts that answer our queries in some way. without their expertise the rest of us would be "up the creek" rather often. |

(so you can 'thank' a particular user for their help) Ability to delete one's own posts/threads (obviously after X posts are reached) Longer editing time! (maybe something like 1 hour, or maybe indefinitely after X posts) Images in sigs. |

| 817343 | 2009-10-06 09:40:00 | Yeah the Thanks feature, similar to Karma I s'pose, I've seen a few forums with that. escort1557, I think you're right, change for the sake of change isn't what we're after here, but rather to improve the community, the feel of the site, perhaps assist new members and things with getting started a lil more? But yes, keep the ideas coming :) |

| 817345 | 2009-10-06 09:52:00 | Of all the sites I use, including many using the same platform, PF1 is by far the best. However, what they all share in common is a relatively poor search function. Sometimes I even have difficulty finding a thread that I know I started, and end up having to ask the same question again. Other than that, no changes are really necessary at all in my opinion, and change for change's sake is a backwards step. If you get down to tweaking it is not worth the time and effort. It's good for a dog to have few fleas, it stops her worrying about the fact she's a dog. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
