691285 2008-07-23 10:43:00 The director is the managing director of a local\national group of accountancy firm. He is also very involved with EIT up here being on the board of directors, and also Sports HB, as well as having a hand in his wife's business which has 4 shops.....he certainly is a busy boy..anyway, we have several sql databases, but mainly he will use for office apps.
I think he wants to be able to scribble his meeting notes using the tablet, so he can easily refer back etc.....he does like his toys, problem is he hardly uses them, then forgets how they work...LOL.

He currently has a dual core lappy, complete with docking stand, wireless keyboard\mouse etc, T3G cards for remote access, but hardly uses them....

Tell you what - I'll buy him a Tablet if he gives me the dual core lappy and other toys.... :D

691286 2008-07-23 21:05:00 I already has Olympus dictation device and a Blackberry Pearl, dont think an iphone will go down for voice recording....you cant always talk in meetings etc.....

I have been checking some of the reviews.....most have the low volt ultra cpu @ 1.2Ghz, dont think he will notice the difference really during office apps, BUT he will say he does...LOL. They all have fairly small lcd panel also.....some speak of grainy panel due to film over the top etc....I dont know if I like them really..........?

691287 2008-07-24 04:37:00 Our Asus R1F tablet PC has a Core 2 Duo (1.86GHz) and a 13.3" screen. Then again, it's a convertible. Grainy pictures aren't noticed. pcuser42 (130)
