I find PF1 comes up a fair bit in Google searches, and the vBulletin search isn't *too* bad if you use the advanced search :) Rewards system sounds cool, I like that idea :D Karma ratings perhaps? A forum I also contribute regularly in has Karma, as well as a "top posters of the month". They also have a "member of the month" award where they do a small profile on a different regular contributing member each month, it's pretty cool! Probably not applicable for here, but yeah ... |

| 817330 | 2009-10-06 06:16:00 | Hmm ... while I can appreciate this would be nice, guess what group of people would have to moderate this ... toys will be thrown big time at suggestions of unfair point distribution (or removal). Having a reward system whereby people can get a small prize every few months could work. Purely for example, say every three months everyone who has made more than 10 posts during that period can go into a random draw for the prize. Maybe have 3 people drawn out? If you have been banned for any period during that time, that will automatically disqualify you from being in the draw. Just an idea. :p This would only work I think if it was restricted to PF1 and not to the chat |

However there are also many relevant posts where one reply solves it, so again the phrase or word may only be used once or twice. I find it effects the users experience of the site to read a long post then find the reference to the key word is out of context. Sound like I want the site to think like me, which would be great, but I am sure there is some middle ground where it can use some form of intelligence to filter the searches better, |
