693645 2008-07-30 21:15:00 Hi. Less than a week ago we bought a Sony V-series TV incorporating Freeview. We got our Telstra box changed to digital and the cable guy sorted it all out so everything was sweet. We could see all the cable channels we pay for, as well as the Freeview TVNZ ones in noticeably better (compared to cable) digital format. However, since some time last night we haven't been able to get any of the Freeview channels. The TV reports "No event information" when scrolling through icons, or "selected programme is not tuned" when the channel is selected. A TV in a bedroom getting it's signal from the same aerial on the roof picks up TV1 and TV3 - TV2 has disappeared. Could the aerial be at fault? I wouldn't be surprised as we had one mother of an easterly blowing around last night. Any help appreciated, thanks.
Cheers

693646 2008-07-30 21:45:00 False alarm. Apparently the problem is local (I'm on the Kapiti Coast) and no digital TV is going right now. I called a very helpful TV aerial installer who was onto it. We just wait for it to come right by itself. Whew! k8smum (6062)
