He got complications from his illness and had pnemonia (sp?) and after a day at home was rushed back to hospital. and now he is out of suffering and pain. and our life will change for ever. :crying beetle:crying |

| 692868 | 2008-07-27 18:32:00 | Really sorry to hear that, Beetle. There's no way to prepare yourself for the finality of it all. You always want just one more hug from them. My parents are both gone, one suddenly of a heart attack at home, the other had 2yrs of lung cancer and I nursed him at home. I'm glad your Dad was able to be at home for a little while anyway. They seem to sense that their passing is close by. Hang on in there. Don't feel as if you have to be strong, just go with the tide. God bless. Marg. |

| 692872 | 2008-07-27 19:13:00 | beetle, I have just returned from a local cemetry where my Dad was buried 12 years ago. He moved back in my house when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and I watched him waste away for 9 months until I found he had passed away overnight 18th Dec 96. He was one of the best men you could hope to meet. An absolute Star, my best buddy, my best drinking partner and the most grevious loss in my life. I carry our memories with me 24/7 and he is with me, wherever I go and whatever I do in life. His grave plot is maintained as a beautiful small garden throughout the year and there is nothing more I can do for him. I offer you my sincere condolence and trust that you will give your late Dad the respect and loving memory that he deserves. Look up in the sky tonight and you will see a new Star above you.
