692429 2008-07-26 21:04:00 Surprised.... Not.

Casebook psychopath as far as I can tell, and I always thought so. Subsequent events seem to be confirming my view.

On the plus side, big ups to the probation officer and police who acted promptly and in the public interest. I hope the receive the approprate commendations. The Parole Board were also wise to impose the conditions they did... obviously they have learnt a few lessons too.

692430 2008-07-26 21:23:00 My problem with this, is that when he gets out, how long will it be before decides to kill again in order to feed the drug habit?

I hope he knocks on the door of a "do gooder" before he gets to where I live!

692431 2008-07-26 22:34:00 I thought a conviction for murder had a life long sentence and if the killer was released on parole he could be banged up for any misdemeanor all his life. Thereby carrying on his penalty for killing someone.

That sounded quite sensible to me.

Lock him up and throw the key away.

692432 2008-07-26 22:44:00 Another example of someone with no respect for the Law. The Law should show the same amount of respect to him in return.

692433 2008-07-26 23:30:00 It was manslaughter not murder.

Thats why he was only jailed for 7 yrs.

If it was for murder, he wouldnt be out yet.

So, if he does go back to prison, they can only hold him till his original release date - Sept 08.

You could stay in prison for good tho, if Probation / The Prison / The Judge, think you're were a danger / risk to the community, or if you were sentenced to preventive detention.

692434 2008-07-26 23:49:00 Anyone who thought he is rehabilitated is a complete idiotic knob. And the justice system, has once again, failed society. When is it going to end......

Kurariki's pestilent existence should have been ended on the night he killed that pizza guy. Along with the rubbish he calls his friends.

692435 2008-07-26 23:57:00 Well, as they say noones perfect.

There's more than 1 crim out there, and there's more than 1 person whos been jailed, come out and gone back in again.

If that didnt happen, there would be no prisons, justice system, or courts.

And probably no government (which wouldnt be a bad idea) !
