818364 2009-10-10 07:52:00 Son of a gun!! I actually got the key!! What gives??! I thought this was only for compsci and engineering students? Beeswax can you explain please?

Cheers blam!! :D

Hey, MSDNAA is for all students at University, regardless of the department/faculty that you study in.

ComSci and IS students have their own portal where we can get other specialized software but MSDNAA is a free for all. Enjoy! :D

That is not correct. MSDNAA is only available to students enrolled in at least one course run by a faculty/school/department which has subscribed to the service. They pay around $700/year for this. See: blogs.msdn.com

The Auckland Uni situation is probably a glitch in the system where they aren't checking the enrolment status of students. Somebody hasn't configured the ELMS system properly.

You can get to them in one extra click - they're under "Organise".

Based on the list I posted earlier, it doesn't seem to be (blogs.msdn.com)

You could do a search here and see if you find anything: www.msdnaa.net
