| 819117 | 2009-10-11 01:22:00 | I've been looking for a second power adapter for my notebook. The supplied adapter has output of 19.5v ~4.7a. By my calculation, this supplies 91.65W. Does that mean that a 90W-rated generic adapter would by useable with my laptop (provided the connector fits)? If so, how does this adapter look? Thanks - I had a look there a while back, but just checked again, and found this: www.laptopbattery.co.nz It's got the same ratings - 19.5v~4.7a, and it's 90W, but the compatible parts listing doesn't include the current genuine adapter I've got - VGP-AC19V36. How critical do you think that is? |
