| 695250 | 2008-08-06 04:04:00 | Seeing as I don't have freeview, it appears the only way I can watch the Olympic football games tonight is through the TVNZ website. Does anyone have any idea how much bandwidth 2 hours worth of streaming video would suck up? |

| 695253 | 2008-08-06 04:36:00 | The way you work it out, is find out the bit rate it's streaming at, then divide it by 8. (8 bits in a byte.) That is how many kilo bytes a second you've downloading at. Then work it out in terms of minutes or hours. If it was 300kbps, you'd be downloading constantly at about 37.5 kbytes/sec, which works out at 2.25mb/min, or 135MB per hour. Maths ftw. :D |
