695125 2008-08-05 23:44:00 Who else got one of these letters from Noel Leeming with a $20 coupon attached, and shop with them between the 8th and 10th of August, and spend more than $50 or more and get $20 off your purchase.
:)

695126 2008-08-06 00:17:00 Not I. I don't waste the energy that it takes to walk in the store.

Noel Leeming has never been good to me or anyone i know.

695127 2008-08-06 00:46:00 Yes, I got one. Unlike Jams, I have found them pretty good to deal with. Also good if you have a problem with a purchase.

Don't need anything at the moment though.

695130 2008-08-07 02:39:00 Might have got one, can't remember. However I have always been happy with Noel Leeming in Invercargill.

Furthermore NL supports Habitat For Humanity charity so I'm inclined to support them in turn. Never had a problem with them and the local manager has been quite active in helping Habitat.

I've never understood why people do that.

If i wanted to/had the money/time to support such an organisation i would. I'd go directly to Habitat For Humanity and request to be put on their list of donaters. I wouldn't let places like Noel Leeming trick me into thinking that i am doing a good thing by buying from them.

It's just a marketing tool.

Very cynical but possibly true Jams

695134 2008-08-07 06:54:00 Its marketing all right.

We (The company who employ me) support quite a few charities and many community projects, However, No one ever gets told about it. The company director does what he can, when he can...because he is able to do so, Not because he is trying to build an image.
