695053 2008-08-05 08:38:00 Why is it when one attempts to delete address's etc when forwarding an email, that quite often it wont let you delete all at once, just have to delete a bit at a time?. Cicero (40)

Can't you just highlight what you don't want and delete

695058 2008-08-05 09:31:00 What you talking about Willis ??? if you are referring to the others address that are showing, that have also received the mail, in the text of the mail, simply left click, highlight them all and hit delete - do that every day with jokes that have been sent - never a problem. wainuitech (129)
695059 2008-08-05 10:31:00 What are you using? Remember there's more than one way to check email nowadays. From where I'm sitting right now I could check my email 4 or 5 different ways. (Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Webmail, ATOM feed via RSS client, cellphone and iPod) sal (67)

That is to say,I get an email with half a page of address's,when I forward I like to delete all those, but when I higlight and attempt to delete, they just stay there, the only way I can do it is to highlight say a 1/4 at a time and delete, was wondering why that was?

I will try again.
We receive an email, sometimes the body on the email is full of email address's ,say 50 or so,now if I want to forward that on to you, chances are you won't want to see the mail address's,so I try to delete these by highlighting and deleting,I have found that if I try to remove all the emails by highlighting and deleting that, the deletes doesn't' work,so if I highlight a portion they will delete OK,sometimes It takes 3 goes b4 clearing them all.
