694792 2008-08-04 02:46:00 Reduce the size of the Search box buttons. Also, how to get the Search box Results to display onto a different / new page and reduce their Font size.

694793 2008-08-04 04:37:00 Here comes the torrent of traffic from PressF1...

Website looks good as a whole. I feel that the texts "Enjoy and share our family and historical interest with fellow genealogists etc." are a bit small. Google has a search utility that you can use on the website :)

Keep up the good work!

694795 2008-08-04 07:23:00 Gosh, you're brave to ask people to nit pick your website. :D

First up, "knowlwdgable" ?!

Being a genealogy website, I will generalise a bit and suggest you will attract the older generation to the site. White font on an orange background can be visually challenging to those with weaker eyesight ... Also, the text size is a little too small on the home page.

The programme section has an interesting page layout with a large blank space to the left of the first few entries.

The Library Roster page also has a large blank area between the image banner and the start of the text.

Apart from that, it looks great. Well done. :)

i too find the txt size to be a bit on the small size........ and the orange maybe could be toned down a bit.

and i find the circle with embleem in it a bit blurry but not sure if that is me or my screen or your end...

694798 2008-08-04 07:42:00 Nice site but font size does need increasing slightly to possibly 10 point. I found out the font using firebug addon for Firefox using version 3 here. gary67 (56)

Definitley. The blue background looks nice. Orange looks OK, but is not that easy to read. Make 'em all blue, and change the top one somehow, just so it's different. Bold would work.

If it was my site, I'd also change the header and footer colour to that blue, and possibly change the background colour to white.

The text on the home page is way to small, and I personally really don't like TNR on webpages, IMO it makes it look cheap and messy. Just my opinion, you asked for a critique! :) I'd go with Arial, like the other pages, and knock all the text up 1pt, again it's probably primarily older people who will be looking at this site.
