694206 2008-08-02 03:21:00 How many PF1 members love rugby and have children who want "Hanah Montana, The Movie" in 3D ...both on at the same time. The rugby kicks off at 7.30pm.

HM-TM starts at 6.30pm and runs to 7.55. Then, in all of SkyTv's wisdom, starts a replay immediatelyafter that, finishing at 9.20pm. There are NO more repeats at all.

I have rung Sky and berated them untold on the degree of intelligence required when one is made a programmer for Sky.

There are going to be a lot of distraught kids in NZ tonight.

If you are as annoyed as I am, ring and tell them so. I spoke to a supervisor by request. She said they have no control over the matter. That was the only time Disney USA would let them run the movie. Can you imagine Disney doing that when their Superbowl or suchlike was on over there. Sounds a load of bollocks to me.

My grandaughter was in tears this afternoon when her Dad picked her up and made us aware of the conflict.

Damn Sky!!!

694207 2008-08-02 03:37:00 I'm surprised they didn't suggest a second decoder, and this should have been looked at earlier.

BUT looking at skys answer

It wouldn't matter when either was aired, it still wouldn't please every one.

694209 2008-08-02 04:22:00 I would never let the kids dictate what channel I watch. plod (107)
694210 2008-08-02 04:53:00 I'm surprised they didn't suggest a second decoder, and this should have been looked at earlier .

They did . But then who would want 2 decoders except at a time like this? It would just double the rubbish collecting ability and cost $Plenty . 50 for a second unit . My son said him and his mates reckon it is a plot by Sky to flog off the dual room/decoder setup . Sky seems to disliked by lots of folk I know .

I really only want Sky for the rugby and the occasional doco that is not recycled and given a new name (3 or 4 times a year maybe)

It doesn't really affect me . It is my grandaughter who will miss out . Her and many tens of thousands of other kids throughout NZ who will be wanting to see their heroine .

Initially I would agree with you but when you argue the point from both perspectives in your head, the kids win.

694213 2008-08-02 06:22:00 I like to watch a bit of Food Channel.
Which husband hates and he would prefer to watch History Channel.

We compromise.

We don't shout at Sky.

If its so essential, go hire the movie for the kids.

694215 2008-08-02 07:31:00 Oh, I just love MySky for times like this. Record Two sky channels at once, and a Sony HDD Recorder to record non-sky.

pctek I watch Food channel a lot too, I might be a bloke but I do most of the cooking here.
