Something like that is good for just CPU.

Your case needs to be able to fit it all though. I've had a water cooled system for 3 years now, and it's barely worth it unless you want to overclock like a psycho. It also is not quiet, or at least not as quiet as a good air cooled system can be.

Do you plan to OC?

By how much?

Did it increase your electrical consumption?

Many years ago I heard that liquid cooled system were notorious for draining power..

I've not noticed a difference, it's just a small pump and a few fans.

At the moment I'm just looking at what I would like to get for my next PC and had of these water coolers for PC's. I'm looking at getting a Intel to replace the aging AMD that I currently have. I may end up over clocking if it will be required to get more out of the CPU.

Don't bother until you REALLY plan to OC.

Just get a TRUE 120 for now.

820704 2009-10-15 08:42:00 Yep, don't go watercooling unless you're OCing heavily or just a dumbass when it comes to splashing out money for PC hardware (ie, me).

I got my E8600 to 4.25GHz for everyday use, 4.6GHz for benchmarking. At 4.6GHz temps even with my mid-high end WC setup I get 72 on each core! Granted I was using IBR, not P95 or OCCT.
