820314 2009-10-13 23:47:00 Hi

I bought a radio controlled helicopter for my birthday and all the instructional videos on the CD are in Japanese or somesuch, but that's another story. I've been to the manufacturer's website and some of the downloads are in RAR format which I understand is a compression process. I've downloaded a trial copy of WinRAR to see if I can get at the stuff but in the event that I need it, is there other software out there that will do the same job? Are there any “hooks” to watch out for.

Thanks

820320 2009-10-14 01:32:00 Or, if you just need to unrar a few files and nothing else, then there is a freeware command line unrar.exe for windows, a small useful utility, less than 200kB.
