| 820205 | 2009-10-13 08:53:00 | It really depends. Most USB printers are good, but a few old parallel ones I've had don't work. Webcam / scanner support is better from what I've seen, but yeah ... There is an Upgrade Advisor you can run which may assist? |

| 820208 | 2009-10-14 06:22:00 | I have installed W7 Ultra on 2 computers. One an old Pentium4 sis chipset, about 6 years old, an the other an Asus AMD Dual core Nvidia chipset . In the older computer I used the XP drivers. In the Asus the only driver I had to find was the graphics card, a Vista one did the trick. The following runs fine on W7:- Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Publisher 2003, Calendar 1.1 (for W95), Cash Book, Professional file (in DOS box), Homesite 2,5, ACDSee 3 (W98), Galt Backup (wont run in XP Sp3 or Vista), Forte Agent Mail, Mail Washer, plus a few more. Hardware Brother 2040 lazer printer (Vista driver), Dick Smith USB 56k fax modem, Win Lucent 56k modem, USB Sound Card. |

From my experience, W7 has excellent driver support libraries built in, and is compatible with most devices:) |
