695298 2008-08-09 00:47:00 Yeah I know actually she's in town now with her son. I'm home hooking up the range hood in the kitchen can't you tell...... gary67 (56)
695299 2008-08-09 06:47:00 I am not in any way put-upon or henpecked; and I have that on very good authority from SWMBO.

Try this, it may work (but only once so watch carefully). When the trolley gets too heavy / expensive for your comfort zone, switch trolleys with a near empty one in the care of some small person just prior to entering the milking queue at the checkout.

695303 2008-08-09 16:47:00 Husbands are a strange breed indeed, why? is all I can ask.

I know there are a couple here that have had a few decades of toture, but c'mon, how many really wanted it?

Well...there are benefits

695304 2008-08-09 21:10:00 Well...there are benefits

Doesn't have to be benefits Joe. We are coming up to 40yrs married in a couple of months. We still hold hands when we are walking and smile at each other across a crowded room or supermarket..... aaaah, bliss.... till she asks me to pay for the groceries.

The holding hands bit is to stop her getting her hands on my wallet!!!

Just kidding, she's a great girl and is still out working while I am retired. Says it is to keep me in the manner to which I am accustomed.
