695260 2008-08-06 05:36:00 Games opening on TV One Fri at 2130
The days after that there is nothing else but games coverage from Midday on so why bother about trying to stream it.

so that you can watch a different sport than what is showing on the
box at the time.

A bit like tennis really
Your neck will be constantly turning form the box to the monitor and then back again

I heard today that the actual opening is just after midnite.. No doubt TVNZ will fill in from 9.00pm endless repeats of past Olympic glories. I just hope that they don't show every haka that no doubt will take place every time some NZ athlet completes an event..

695263 2008-08-07 00:28:00 I watched the football last night, about 2 hours constant streaming. Total internet usage was 440mb, so it wasn't as bad as I feared it might be. the_bogan (9949)
695264 2008-08-07 01:06:00 Must have been the same feed on Sports Extra. I've seen better on Sky Sports.. paulw (1826)
