695135 2008-08-07 09:42:00 Its marketing all right.

We (The company who employ me) support quite a few charities and many community projects, However, No one ever gets told about it. The company director does what he can, when he can...because he is able to do so, Not because he is trying to build an image.

would you be one of those charities? I do know what you mean, my boss does the same thing.

Is there anything under $20 though?

695138 2008-08-07 20:47:00 I've been into Noel L exactly four times and I hate them. Each time I have paid cash and each time They insist on knowing my name and address, "for our records" The first three times I humoured them and gave a phony name and address. On the last occasion I was in abad mood and said a few words. The silly female said she must have my name so I told her where to stick the product, put my wallet back in my pocket and walked out. Used to piss me off a bit as well. Till I had a problem with a Sony MP3 player and couldn't find the reciept. I had bought it on holiday 13 months previously in Rotorua and Sony said they would replace it if I had the reciept. Noel Leeming in Napier put in my name and phone number and - lo and behold a copy of the reciept was printed for me.

I won't moan again about their requests for info.

That's silly. Ken's example is perfect. I wouldn't want to sell something (valuable) to someone, and have no record of who it was we sold it so.

695142 2008-08-08 00:42:00 They can ask, They have no right to insist or get upset if you refuse. I just say no, and if they hesitate instruct them to carry on with the sale. Metla (12)
