| 819987 | 2009-10-13 02:07:00 | Do realise that torrenting is not at a constant speed. Its depends greatly on the number of seeders vs leechers.. What have you been downloading? Because 27KBps is very slow.... To add to this, on public torrent sites most people limit there upload speeds. On Private sites this does not happen due to ratio's making limiting pointless, hence much much faster speeds. This is skirting around naughty talk so enough said :P |

Battleneter2, the torrent that im downloading at the moment has 20 seeders (374 in queue and about 15 peers and 420 in queue). Thanks blam6, but I've tried almost every upload speed from limiting it to 1 to unlimited upload speed. That hasn't helped though. Thanks for the ideas. I am having trouble getting in touch with Ispone at the moment (after 20mins on the phone I just gave up!). I am pretty sure that the cause is at their end though. Whether it is throttling or I have reached my monthly limit. Im considering just leaving it for a couple of days and seeing if it is my limit it may reset itself. But I know that they have told me my monthly 12GB download clicks over on the 1st of the month. So I will have to keep my fingers crossed:crying | hrb1968 (15344) | ||

It turns out that I am a client of a company called TADaust, and they use ISPone's lines. Something really weird is going on here guys! I've been ringing them all morning and after an extended delay I get an engaged signal. Ive Googled Tadaust and I tried alot of the internet addresses on the site/s. I dont think thier is any way I can get information that way. (The addresses dont work in Outlook). So, Now I'm thinking that because thier phone is constantly engaged, that maybe they have had a really bad failure or something, either that or they are avoiding my calls:illogical. Which would actually be kind of a relief because it would mean that it is just temporary and they are working on fixing it. At this point I guess I will just leave it and try again tomorrow. | hrb1968 (15344) | ||
