If a person watches a DVD or a Blue Ray Disc even thou they are not very popular yet at the rental libraries on a computer screen - ie., some screens LCDs or CRT have pretty high resolutions, and compare that to a HD TV. What's the general difference? Another question is that with a HD TV, if a person links a computer to it and does his/her email and internet surfing and word processing - how is that compared to a computer screen? Are there computer screens that is also HD qualified? Thanks. |

If you are playing the video at its native resolution and have an all digital setup, then you probably won't be able to see much difference. Personally, I wouldn't want to use an LCD television as a computer screen or a computer screen as a television purely because as televisions get bigger the PPI (pixels per inch) don't increase once the resolution reaches 1920 x 1080 (so the pixels are much bigger on bigger monitors), and most computer monitors are far to small to be a television. | maccrazy (6741) | ||
