| 694380 | 2008-08-02 19:40:00 | Give Up Barry Antony Dixon. He's guilty. He has been found guilty by two very expensive trials. He's admitted it. Please stop these stupid appeals at our great expense ! Stop trying to make a name for yourself. He is clearly a very bad man, and we want him away for ever. Even Psychiatrists can't agree on what insanity means or if people are insane or faking it. And just because he had a had time when he was a child, does not excuse the terrible barbaric things he did later on. Thousands of other people were probably similarly mistreated and do nor offend. And to read him now say all he wants to do is live a good life ! makes me sick. Yes sure we all want to live a good life. He had a chance and stuffed up. |

How he can lower himself to taking huge amounts of Taxpayers money on the pretext of defending an innocent man defies belief? Why the Government allow him to do it also defies belief. However, I agree with Kenj and recommend that our “Correction Service” be relocated to China or Singapore or any Asian country that’s prepared to do a deal. Given the cost of keeping the rubbish comfortably housed in NZ, and given that if it makes economic sense to move Call Centres and the likes overseas, then moving prisoners overseas would be equally economic. An added bonus would be the reduction in re-offending. ;) |
