| 694179 | 2008-08-01 14:19:00 | I have a question The advertisments,banners etc in windows live messenger are suppose to sponsor windows live messenger right?That is why we are using it for free? But there are other alternatives like gaim,digsby,trillian etc that do not contain ads and have the ability to connect to MSN Actually I don't see the reason of having advertisments for MSN Are people paying microsoft to advertise ads on windows live messenger? It is illegal to remove the advertisments because they are paying microsoft to have ads on windows live messenger? |

Google Messenger Plus, which is one that can do it. The Microsoft Police are not going to come knocking on your door telling to put the adverts back. |
