820889 2009-10-16 07:16:00 I reckon you got a pretty decent machine at the moment. Maybe you could get a new motherboard and stick an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU in?
Apart from that,
nice rig!

Why upgrade the motherboard if the current one still suffices for his needs?...

Jimm: Something like this would be a good PSU:

And also, you may want to spend some money on a new monitor, or two.

I've just got me a brand new Phillips 191EW 19 inch flat panel monitor to replace the old CRT that I had been using.

In regards to FSX, I still prefer my old favourite FS2004

You really should've paid more and gotten a bigger size, at least 22"

Currently 22" monitors are very cheap, going from $260-$400

I have the VX2233vm myself, which was around $320

And did you pay for another copy thereof when you could have got a replacement from Microsoft if one CD did not work?

I had thought about getting bigger at the time but decided on the current one that I mentioned above. Anyway having the new LCD certainly beats having the old CRT monitor I had.

No I went and got a brand new copy for $50. It was quicker than having to deal with Microsoft for a replacement disc.
