I've run into a minor dispute with an internet book seller who I believe advertised a hard cover book on Fishpond but despatched a soft cover version. In our correspondence he has also mentioned a 20% cheaper price on the soft cover version than I actually paid, so I'm damned sure I was expecting the hardback.

I have a query lodged with Fishpond but I somehow doubt that they would store expired ads so I thought I try the go back machine or whatever it is called that stores old pages, but I can't remember where to find it.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Cannot answer your query about the expired ads and maybe I have the wrong end of the stick, but, Fishpond have a list of every order I have placed with them and probably have same of yours.

Only once have I had to cancel an order with them and that was with the Australian branch. There were no problems, my payment was refunded.

Hindsight has 20/20 vision, but I save a copy of every order for goods ordered via the net.

Cheers,
