| 697353 | 2008-08-15 00:14:00 | Anybody having problems with the new formulated Thyroxine? It has made me feel real bad. Been taking it for years without a problem. Bad headaches, feeling dizzy, aches and pains etc. Had to stop taking them for a fortnight until I could source another brand from England. SmithGlaxoKline and Medsafe have a lot to answer for. Must be cost cutting= more profits! Maybe a few resignations will need to be asked for. 500+ complaints and rising I was told a couple of days ago. | royaloaks (8205) | ||

Sneaky buggers thought nobody would notice.Dr Stuart Jessamine of Medsafe should resign forthwith. They had been warned that something like this was going to happen without proper trials. Got told at lunch time that TV1 Closeup has something on about it all tonight. Hope its not an backside covering PR spin from yet another Government department. | royaloaks (8205) | ||
| 697356 | 2008-08-15 10:44:00 | Hi Royaloak. Is "Thyroxine" the exact name? Or is it Eltroxin? I would advise you to talk to your local pharmacist or GP if symptoms persist. Cheers :) |

| 697359 | 2008-08-15 22:37:00 | I have been on thyroxine for several years and over the last year or more have developed migraine headaches. These occure most days and sometimes twice in a day. After watching Close Ups programme on the 15 th August it looks as if these might be conected. I have had a CAT scan and an MRI as well as seeing a neurologist recently with no reason for these headaches. | Anne Min (14079) | ||
